WWE Friday Night Smackdown improves over last week

May 31, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Friday Night Smackdown gained in the A18-49 this week and its overall viewership on Friday.

The first hour drew 2.143 million viewers and gained in the second hour to 2.157 million viewers.

Viewership overall on the networks for Friday night was down with the most-watch show on the networks being a rerun of Blue Bloods on CBS in the 10pm slot.  ABC’s Shark Tank and an episode of 20/20 had the highest viewership in the 8-9pm and 9-10pm time slot respectively.

Smackdown drew even with the ABC shows with respect to the ratings in the A18-49 demo.  In the first hour, it drew a 5 share in the A18-49 demo which was the best for the evening on the networks.

Payout Perspective:

The telecast did better this week than last week which is a good sign. Smackdown still caters to the young demo which has been the saving grace for the show since debuting in October.
