The Nevada Athletic Commission announced that it is cancelling its regularly scheduled monthly meeting for March 25th.
In an email sent on Monday afternoon, the commission indicated that due “to the ongoing concern and consideration of the health and safety of the public in regard to the COVID-19 virus,” it would cancel its meeting and announce its next meeting at a later date.
Last week the commission held an emergency meeting in which it had postponed a decision on what to do with the licensing of combat sports. Due to this postponement, it looks like the state of combat sports in Nevada will be on hold until a later date.
