February 29, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Smackdown on Friday night drew 2.736 million viewers in the first hour and 2.697 million in the second hour per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

The telecast on Fox drew a 6 share in the M18-49 demo and a 0.8 in the A18-49 in both hours. Both were the best across networks.

CBS ruled the night with MacGyver drawing 5.6 million viewers in the 8pm time slot and Hawaii Five-O drawing 6.8 million viewers in the 9pm slot.  Shark Tank on ABC drew 4.1 million in the 8pm time slot.

Last week Smackdown drew an average of 2.484M viewers and 952,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

Payout Perspective:

The 2.71 million viewer average is one of the best ratings for WWE Smackdown on Fox since it began this past October.  Also, the share in the M18-49 and A18-49 are good numbers showing that it still pulling in a younger audience that what is usually on Friday nights.
