ONE Championship announces ambitious schedule including possible U.S. debut

January 7, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

ONE Championship has major plans for 2020 as it plans a promotion record 50 events this year.

CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced on Facebook of the ambitious schedule the company will engage in this year.

Bear in mind, these will not be 50 MMA events.  The events will also include its esports business, HERO and Warrior series.

It intends to include events in China, India and the United States if things fall into place for the company.

Payout Perspective:

Its an ambitious schedule and expansion strategy.  Last year it began to send out feelers of the promotion in the U.S. with the target of holding events in North America by 2020.  Making inroads into China and India in the same year seems ambitious especially when you want to ensure you make a good first impression in the area.  We will see what 2020 brings for ONE and its business.
