WWE Smackdown draws 2.44M viewer average

December 29, 2019 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Smackdown drew an average of 2.44 million viewers on Friday night.  It still maintains its popularity among the 18-49 audience drawing the best rating in that demo for the night.

WWE Smackdown drew a 0.7 rating and a 4 share overall in the first hour and a 0.6 rating in the second hour.  While CBS reruns for Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I ruled the networks in terms of overall viewership in time slots for 8pm and 9pm respectively, Smackdown did well with its targeted demo.

It drew 2.54M in the first hour and 2.337M in the second hour.

Payout Perspective:

I am not sure if this is concerning but the trend is for viewership to tail off into the second hour of Smackdown.  While overall viewership numbers aren’t the best, it is still winning the demo most coveted by WWE.
