NXT on the USA Network Christmas night drew 831,000 viewers unopposed as AEW Dynamite on TNT was preempted.
The ratings reflect an increase from its 795,000 viewers last week up against AEW. TNT aired a 24-hour special of the move A Christmas Story all day.
NXT on USA drew 0.22 in the A18-49 demo and 0.28 in the M18-49 demo which were actually down from the preceding week.
Payout Perspective:
Good news for NXT as it built on an audience despite it being a holiday. Certainly, there were some wrestling fans at home on Christmas night willing to watch something. We will see how competition next week on New Year’s night will affect the ascent of the NXT audience.
