PBC on Fox Saturday night draws 1.301M viewers, peaks at 1.769M

August 7, 2019 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC on Fox drew 1.301 million viewers on Saturday according to Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The viewership includes the overrun which saw Chris Arreola defeat Adam Kownacki in a heavyweight matchup.

The ‘fast nationals’ which drew 1.051M included PBC’s time slot from 8-10pm ET did not account for the overrun.

The telecast peaked during the main event at 1.769 million viewers and averaged 1.727 million. The Pascal-Browne matchup drew 1.220 million viewers while the opening fight of Omotoso-Stevens drew 898,000.

The average viewership of the entire broadcast on Fox was 1.301 million.  The post-fight coverage drew 1.298 million viewers.  A combined 1.393 million viewers watched the PBC event across the FOX platforms of Fox, Fox Deportes and its streaming services.

Payout Perspective:

Good ratings for this event as you can see that the audience progressively built throughout the broadcast.  The build to almost 1.8 million viewers during the main event is a good sign for the PBC brand.  It was the best ratings for PBC on Fox since March.
