PBC on Fox Sunday peaked with 1.832M viewers

June 25, 2019 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC on Fox Sunday night peaked with 1.832 million viewers during the Charlo-Cota fight which seeped over the two-hour time slot.  The event peaked during the 10:00pm ET-10:15pm ET quarter hour.  The telecast on Fox averaged 1.211 million viewers from 8-10:15pm ET.

The complete main card telecast on Fox drew 1.265 million viewers along the Fox family of Fox, Fox Deportes and Fox Sports streaming services.

Broken down the main card telecast on Fox Sunday night were as follows:

Rigondeux vs. Ceja: 1.030 million viewer average

Spencer vs. Black:  1.187 million

Charlo vs. Cota:  1.832 million (same as the peak)

Fox Deportes drew an additional 48,000 viewers.  Fox Sports streaming services had an average minute audience of 6,118.

The PBC Boxing Prelims drew 836,000 viewers.  Earlier in the day, Inside PBC Boxing on Fox averaged 320,000 viewers.  The Inside PBC Boxing telecast featured Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman talking about their upcoming fight in July.

Payout Perspective:

The fast-national average was 1.007 million viewers but did not account for the 15-minute overrun.  The event did not fare well competing against other network shows on Sunday night but the averages for the fights were good as compared to other PBC on Fox telecasts.
