Bellator 151 DVR+3 numbers reflect peak viewership of 1.1M

March 10, 2016 by Jason Cruz 5 Comments

Bellator 151 drew 838,000 viewers on Spike TV last Friday in DVR +3 adjusted viewership numbers.  The show peaked with 1.1 million viewers during the Darrion Caldwell-Joe Warren fight.

The Caldwell-Warren fight averaged 861,000 viewers.  The event averaged 768,000 viewers in overnight viewership.

Bellator live events in 2016 are averaging 1.2 million viewers thanks to Bellator 149.  It’s a 45% increase since 2015.  It is delivering 0.93 in Men 18-19 and 0.7 with Adults 18-49.

Payout Perspective:

The numbers reflect the fact that the Bellator audience is increasing and its due in part to the tentpole events.  Even non-tentpole events are showing signs of improvement.  Notably, peak viewership is up this year over last year thus far.

there you go, outstanding numbers for Bellator. I hope good things for this organization. They know how to sell their product. They have a lesser product and doing about the same numbers as the other organization with a better all around product. Outstanding indeed. Keep it up!

They’re not doing the same type of numbers as UFC but Bellator is doing well and I am happy as a fan to witness a very active and healthy MMA.

Anyone know the specifics of Glory moving to ESPN? What was different about the deal it had with Spike?

Right wing grift is so hilariously easy. Just write a very weird and creepy fantasy story you know your paper won’t publish, then make a public show of resigning because of it, and you’ll instantly have a job offer from Clay Travis in your inbox
