Including Performance and Fight of the Night Bonuses from last night, McGregor earned 1,050,000 while Diaz ended with $600,000 as he scored two double bonuses. Miesha Tate, the lowest paid fighter out of the four in the main events Saturday, earned $142,000.
Payout Perspective:
The payouts are on the high side due to the top of the card. Although McGregor indicated he’d make over $10 million for this fight, that has yet to be seen. Diego Sanchez, at $75K/$75K was the only other fighter on the roster to make over $100,000.

High paying card, one if the highest monetary payouts over all that I have seen from the UFC. Good to see Diaz making a very good payday. The same for Holm, who was never able to make that level of money in boxing like Ali, St. John, Martin, or even Braekhus did/have. I wonder if she will continue in the UFC or entertain a move back to the Sweet Science since she seems to have been courted by Golden Boy and Mayweather Promotions alike. The UFC is definitely doing the business on its PPVs over the last year.

Hahahaha…good for diaz he hustled dw for the money…seems dw is pissed….they had to pay diaz what he wanted then got theyre money making mcgregor beat…mcgregor is living large may weather style and gets only 1 mil….andre berto got paid way more than that

@ Tops
Dude get a life.
Wil says
Berto is probably one of the smartest guys in boxing. for a relatively minor world champion, the man is worth over 8 figures courtesy of maximizing his winnings, endorsements, with solid investments. Good that he has his father in his life, most boxers from the USA come from broken homes and do not.
d says
Mcgregor makes far more than Berto, don’t ever listen to tops.

Aside from d where are the UFC fanboys? hahahaha.weeping
The Greatest says
Berto has more money than McGregor, Bertos been getting decent purse figures for awhile while Conor is still pretty new.
Andre Berto made $4M when he fought Floyd, possibly more.
Conor maybe made $5M for this fight, thats a hard maybe. But he lost so thats the end of that.

I’m here. Celebrating a great card, with great fights. Yes, McGregor and Holm lost – but that’s what happens when you don’t protect your fighters. It also gets you PPV buys.

Very entertaining. Okay so far according to you, McGregor made 1m, 2-3m, and now you’ve bumped it up to 5m for this fight. Are you calculating the ppv buys as they come in? Hahaha.
McGregor made far more than Berto. Berto is a tv fighter who even after fighting Mayweather made less than Connor for any of his ppv fights. If you think he is done headlining ppvs, you are going to be very sad. Another 1m ppv buy show coming up for him when he defends the belt next.

Topps can’t take the continuing success. Daily affirmations in the mirror that the ufc will eventually fail to maintain his stability. Hahahaha.

d says
Yup. 1.6m……tv money. No ppv points.
McGregor made 4-5x that.
d says
Also, a very amusing tidbit you left out of that article:
“According to Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, Algieri’s biggest payout prior to this fight was $100,000 against Provodnikov:”
Haha.
tops E says
Dont laugh at 100k…ufc fighters would be pissed at you…thats jackpot to them hahaha
d says
Hahaha. Na, that’s a jackpot for non headliners. Prelim fighters in the UFC hit 100k. UFC setting records….topps in overdrive. Hahahaha.
Wil says
I think both Khan and Algieri were both decently paid for their PBC on Spike fight as well gentlemen
Wil says
In fact, as with keeping of the main event fighters on major PBC cards, Khan made $1.5m, Algieri made $500k. Seems like good bit of change gentlemen…especially since former world kickboxing champion Algieri left ISKA/WKA for the higher pay in boxing, looks like he found it. Further on that, Im glad to see so many kickboxers making the move to boxing and doing big things…looks like Jarrel “Big Baby” Miller is also on his way to being a possible contender in the heavyweight division. Also I believe that Marco Huck initially came form kickboxing as well. I remember when I was a younger man, I used to watch a pretty good fighter out of here in Texas called Troy Dorsey who won a world title in boxing after competing in kickboxing. Also Randall “Tex” Cobb also came from full contact karate.
d says
PBC loses money. Their exaggerated payouts are temporary. Think about it- that Khan fight was on spike tv. Bellator literally tripled the ratings of that fight with Kimbo Slice, Shamrock, etc and paid out less than that with a rights deal in place unlike PBC.
Anyone can overpay for something, the key is knowing the business and sustaining it.
