USADA tested 353 fighters as part of the UFC’s anti-doping program in 2015. In the 6 month span, Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey were the most-tested fighters with a reported 8 drug tests conducted by USADA.
According to a report by MMA Junkie, 156 athletes were tested from July 1, 2015 to the end of the year. As pointed out by Junkie, the program was to yield a minimum of 2,750 drug tests at the outset. This was way behind the aspirations of the program. Of the tests, only two, Mirko Cro Cop and Gleison Tibau, produced positive tests. Cro Cop has since retired from the UFC and Tibau indicated that he would appeal the ruling.
USADA has a dedicated web page with a database of fighters that have been tested including the number of times.
In addition to Aldo, McGregor and Rousey, Antonio Silva, Dan Henderson and Holly Holm were subject to USADA tests 7 times.
Payout Perspective:
We shall see if USADA testing picks up for 2016. The initial months of the program were used as an education rather than concentrating on a volume of testing according to the Junkie article. The fighters tested the most appear to be the ones involved in title fights (e.g. Aldo, Rousey, etc.) or had a past with drugs (E.g. Bigfoot Silva, Hendo both used TUEs for TRT).

They should show how they are tested and when specifically. It is far too general to get any indication of what specifics are going on.

What worries me is that Cro-cop’s test just came back negative, if he hadn’t confessed, they would never had nailed him. I don’t think USADA is very effective…

Still works sometimes, Romero just failed an out of competition test.
