Rumble, Arlovski top UFC 191 salaries

September 9, 2015 by Jason Cruz 6 Comments

MMA Junkie reports the salaries from UFC 191.  Anthony Johnson and Andrei Arlovski led the roster on Saturday night making over $200,000.

In addition, Frank Mir, in a losing effort earned $200,000.  Demetrious Johnson earned $191,000 with a $58,000 win bonus.

The pay disclosures were provided by the Nevada State Athletic Commission via MMA Junkie:

Demetrious Johnson: $191,000 (includes $58,000 win bonus)
def. John Dodson: $60,000

Andrei Arlovski: $225,000 (no win bonus)
def. Frank Mir: $200,000

Anthony Johnson: $230,000 (includes $115,000 win bonus)
def. Jimi Manuwa: $24,000

Corey Anderson: $30,000 (includes $15,000 win bonus)
def. Jan Blachowicz: $34,000

Paige VanZant: $24,000 (includes $12,000 win bonus)
def. Alex Chambers: $12,000

Ross Pearson: $90,000 (includes $45,000 win bonus)
def. Paul Felder: $18,000

John Lineker: $48,000 (includes $24,000 win bonus)
def. Francisco Rivera: $23,000

Raquel Pennington: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
def. Jessica Andrade: $20,000

Tiago Trator: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
def. Clay Collard: $10,000

Joe Riggs: $32,000 (includes $16,000 win bonus)
def. Ron Stallings: $12,000

Joaquim Silva: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
def. Nazareno Malegarie: $10,000

Payout Perspective:

Anthony Johnson’s salary is a substantial decrease from his reported pay in his May fight with Daniel Cormier when he made $500,000.  Hence, one might assume that the $500K payday was just a “one off” due to AJ’s fight for the title.  Johnson did grab another $50K win bonus to total $280K for the night.  Demetrious Johnson’s pay grew by at least $8,000 as his last reported payday from UFC 178 last September was $183K including a $54K win bonus.  No official pay info from UFC 186 for Mighty Mouse.

Fightbusiness, 220k salary, as opposed to PBC who pays their headliners over a million from money that is going right down the drain. UFC = sustainable business, PBC = massive financial losses.

    Haha.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
