Bellator 135 DVR bumps rating up to 670K viewers

MMA Payout has learned from a Nielsen source that the Bellator 135 adjusted viewership drew an additional 70,000 viewers for a total of 677,000 viewers.

In addition, the peak for the show went up from the original 922,000 viewers to 984,000.

Payout Perspective:

The adjusted viewership average is approximately 740,000. The gains from the DVR viewership are on par with its regular gains.

    The whole point of running fewer shows was to make each stronger and to have more time/resources to promote each show. Yet, despite running fewer shows, the numbers show no real improvement.

    I personally have not seen more ads/marketing this year. Yes, the big shows (quarterly ones) are being hyped, but the regular shows need more support from Spike.
