The Business of Combat Sports
FightBusiness says
Good show idea. I like the business of fighting. Best of luck!
George Smith says
good job-how about the financial realities of competing-costs of a camp, costs of expert trainers, etc-including the fishy Mike Dolce relationship with UFC-does the UFC profit from his work with fighters? They seem to be marketing him.
Also, maybe some comparisons with the boxing game-back in the day, these guys were often barely literate whereas mma guys seem to come out of collegiate wrestling programs.
This seems a stretch, but I am interested in ped issues prescinding from moralism, promoter’s incentives to encourage it-it extends name fighters brand life, it generates exciting fights. Fighter’s incentives to avoid them-health issues and hazards of getting caught.
thanks, nice job
