The bigger problem is the 18-49 ratings. 8:30pm cops (for B100, 101 not out yet) was 1.16MM with a 0.3 rating. B100 didn’t even crack the top 100 (law and order at 5am 799k 0,.2 rating). I tape it and fast forward thru all the BS, even some of the more boring fights. That said, as long as Viacom is happy you will see little change, more UFC retreads vs unknowns, very few top 30 fighters and not much change in ratings.

re: assassin. While some fights are newly minted prospects vs veterans, Bellator has quietly built a nice roster of talent in the lighter divisions. Bellator are experts and getting up and comers, and have a lot of fighters as good as the “top 30”. Watching their events, its easy to see most of the fighters there are “UFC level”. Some, like Chandler and Curran would be championship threats, but even your Cupcake Woodard’s and such would hang around the bottom third of the UFC.
Ratings will fluctuate with the notoriety of the card, but will slowly grow. Bellator feels like they’re poised to keep getting bigger.
