ValCom Scores Worldwide With XFC

February 2, 2009 by Staff

ValCom, Inc. (OTCBB: VLCO) (FRANKFURT: VAM), through its subsidiary division Valencia Entertainment International, Inc., showcased and marketed the first 13 episodes of the mixed martial arts (MMA) sensational television program Xtreme Fighting Championships the XFC at the recent (NATPE) National Association of Television Program Executives convention which drew international interest from buyers across the globe.

“We are now negotiating with over 7 countries for cash purchases of the first season,” said Vince Vellardita. “North American rights have been secured by the HD Net, led by Mark Cuban, which will be co-producing new shows with the XFC throughout 2009 in high-definition. With the new shows being produced in high definition and the exciting 13 episodes of previous programming now being sold in the worldwide market, this gives Valencia Entertainment a package of 26 hours of some of the finest moments of MMA cage fighting events, making it very attractive to buyers throughout the world.

“The growing billion dollar industry of martial arts fighting combined with broad demographic viewers makes this XFC more attractive. MMA viewers are an enviable demographic with half of all viewing households reporting an income of more than $75,000 annually, making the MMA viewer the most affluent of all sports fans. This deal could prove to be invaluable,” said Vince Vellardita, President & CEO of ValCom, Inc.

XFC draws the biggest crowds in the sport this side of UFC, and is dedicated to launching the careers of the next generation of MMA superstars. “With heart-thumping action and adrenaline-charged cage fighting between the dedicated warriors of XFC, we provide a platform for the champions of tomorrow to showcase their talents and develop into legends,” said XFC president John Prisco. “We’re delighted to be affiliated with ValCom and look forward to growing MMA to even greater heights — because this sport is just 15-years-old and hasn’t even come close yet to reaching its full potential.”
