Kevin Iole reports that indications are that last Saturday’s fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao drew 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. If that number holds up it would have to be considered a major success for Golden Boy and HBO Boxing. Depending on where the respective numbers settle at, it is possible that the boxing number will nearly double the buys received by UFC 91.
