UFC 87 Pay-per-view Results

October 15, 2008 by Staff

Conflicting reports have emerged concerning the pay-per-view results for UFC 87. Last month, ESPN’s MMA Live reported that the event drew 625,000 buys. Earlier this month, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that early cable industry estimates placed the event at 595,000 buys. MMAPayout.com’s sources place the number at just under 600,000 which is in-line with Meltzer’s estimate.

Both numbers fall within the 570,000-630,000 range projected by MMAPayout.com prior to the event.
