TKO Championship Fighting Inks New TV Deal

September 4, 2008 by Kelsey Philpott

TKO Championship Fighting signed a television deal on Wednesday with Quebec-based TQS to air weekly episodes of “TKO Friday Night Knockouts” starting September 5th.

The deal comes at a time when TKO, an organization approaching 10 years in the business, is emerging as the most prominent MMA promotion in Canada. TKO holds five events a year at Montreal’s Bell Centre and has produced such stars as Georges St. Pierre and Patrick Cote.

The promotion has also seen a host of notable MMA fighters within its cage such as Urijah Faber, Jeremy Horn, David Loiseau, Chris Horodecki, Rich Clementi, and Sam Stout.
