Bellator 105 – 520,000 viewers
Payout Perspective:
Without the DVR+3 numbers, the rating gives Bellator 105 the distinction of being the second worst of the current season. The main event last Friday featured Will Brooks defeating Saad Awad in the lightweight tournament semifinal. In cable ratings, “Gold Rush” on Discovery Channel ruled the night. It ran during the same time slot as the first hour of Bellator and received over 2.85 million viewers on Friday night according to Television By Numbers.

I think I may have watched part of Gold Rush once. It was unbelievably stupid.

I don’t believe those shows are real. If they are real if can be fascinating watching them try to find gold. But as we all have learn about reality shows. TV execs do not gamble on their shows. They will not go a gold rush show and run the risk of not finding gold in an entire season. So basically the gold is planted. JUst as those shows like Storage Wars had to start putting a disclaimer on their show. Only an idiot would think all that great stuff comes out of those lockers as frequently as they show them. If they did then the locker owners would never auction them off. But on the show the next locker is always better than the last with someone even more incredible. Boat, Jet ski, jet pack, machine gun, etc. They are basically stocking them with anything that would be cool to see on the show and show them testing out. The reason it is fake is because no one wants to sit at home and watch those guys go through people garbage and clothes which 99.9999999% of all storage lockers are. I don’t trust any of them.
