WWE SmackDown drew its low ratings the week after Wrestlemania according to Nielsen. The two-hour event averaged just 2.30 million viewers.
The first hour saw WWE Friday Night Smackdown on Fox draw 2.372 million viewers. In the second hour, it drew 2.235 million viewers. The telecast drew 0.6 in the A18-49 demo. It drew a 4 share in the M18-49 demo.
Payout Perspective:
The ratings are indicative of the slow decrease in ratings for WWE programming since the pandemic hit. Once a leader in the young demos, ABC and CBS programming have caught up with it. Without a live crowd, it appears that its hurt audience viewership and they are going elsewhere on Friday nights which is not a good sign for the company.
