Episode 4 DVR

Payout Perspective:

Although the viewership from the DVR watching was the lowest of the season (it was also the lowest-rated live + same day rating of the season) it saw its highest percentage increase of the season.

Episode 3

Payout Perspective:

The NBA and NHL Playoffs were the most-watched sports programs and cable Wednesday night per Sports TV Ratings.  Through 3 episodes the series is averaging just 427,000 viewers in live + same day viewership.  Last year through 3 episodes, TUF 22 averaged 539,000 viewers.  TUF 21 drew 436,000 viewers through 3 episodes.  It does seem that the DVR viewing is picking up a lot of viewers which may seem to be the better indicator of who’s watching the show.

Payout Perspective:

Not the best ratings start to a season.  The 387,000 viewers is the lowest episode 2 on FS1 thus far.  The NBA and NHL playoffs.  The Charlotte-Miami and Houston-Golden State games on TNT were the two top-rated sports events on cable

TUF 23 episode 1 lowest rated debut on FS1

The debut episode featured the usual two-hour premiere which showed fights to get into the house.  This season’s coaches are Joanna Jedrzejcyk and Claudia Gadelha.

Ratings of debut episodes of TUF on FS1:

TUF 22 (Conor-Faber) – 622,000 viewers

TUF 21 (Blackzillians-ATT) –490,000 viewers

TUF 20 (Pettis-Melendez) – 536,000 viewers

TUF 19 (Edgar-Penn) – 595,000 viewers

TUF 18 (Rousey-Tate) – 762,000 viewers

Payout Perspective:

It was an entertaining night of fights but the ratings reflect that either people are not into The Ultimate Fighter or they were just so many other things on television.  Spring is always hard due to beginning of baseball, NBA and NHL playoffs.  We will see how this season does in the ratings.
