Wilder ($4M), Fury ($3M) set to make career highs in earnings Saturday

The huge heavyweight boxing showdown between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder takes place at The Staples Center in Los Angeles Saturday night.  Both headliners will receive the biggest paydays of their careers.

Wilder will make $4 million and Fury will make $3 million as disclosed by the California State Athletic Commission.  According to reports, both men should make more than $10 million when including PPV revenue splits.

In addition, the commission also disclosed the following purses for these fights:

Jarrett Hurd $1,000,000 
Jason Welborn $30,000

Luis Ortiz $375,000 
Travis Kauffman $125,000

Joe Joyce $40,000 
Joe Hanks $50,000

Payout Perspective:

It’s the biggest payout for the careers of Wilder and Fury.  Both fighters are undefeated and they have put on a great show of promoting this fight.  Tonight will be a show of how much people want to see this fight with UFC, Bellator and Showtime Boxing on tonight as well.
