July 6, 2018 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Nevada Athletic Commission has disclosed the payouts for UFC 226 tomorrow.  Stipe Miocic is making $750,000 for his title defense against Daniel Cormier.

The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is making $500,000 for his part in the main event.

The rest of the payouts via MMA Junkie:

  • Champ Stipe Miocic: $750,000 (no win bonus)

Anthony Pettis: $135,000 to show ($135,000 to win)
  • Gokhan Saki: $85,000 to show ($55,000 to win)
Khalil Rountree: $19,000 to show ($19,000 to win)
  • Uriah Hall: $48,000 to show ($48,000 to win)
Paulo Costa: $55,000 to show ($55,000 to win)

  • Landon Vannata: $25,000 to show ($25,000 to win)
Drakkar Klose: $22,000 to show ($22,000 to win)
  • Jamie Moyle: $12,000 to show ($12,000 to win)
Emily Whitmire: $10,000 to show ($10,000 to win)

Payout Perspective:

Michael Chiesa is forfeiting 30% of his purse to Anthony Pettis due to not making weight.  Pettis is making a gaudy $135,000 to show and $135,000 to win plus Chiesa’s $14,400 which will have him nearing $300,000 if he wins.  The co-main event of Ngannou and Lewis drew the second-highest payout on the card with Ngannou having a chance for $200K and Lewis at $260,000.  It goes to show that the heavyweight division is the big-pay division.
