Mayweather/McGregor New York Tour Stop draws 136,000 on FS2

July 15, 2017

The Mayweather/McGregor World Tour from New York on Thursday drew 136,000 viewers according to Nielsen.  The third leg, and possibly worst, of the four tour stops took place at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.

The tour stop featured Conor McGregor in a long, mink and Floyd Mayweather showering McGregor with ones.  The live airing on FS2 drew 0.07 in the A18-49 and was marred with both parties arriving really, really late to the event.

Los Angeles:  124,000 (live)

Toronto:  107,000 (live)

New York:  136,000 (live)

Payout Perspective:

We don’t have the ratings for the London tour stop, but New York’s stop was the most-watched live tour stop despite the fact that everyone had to wait so long to see the presser.  What turned out to be a good idea, may have devolved over the course of the week of tour stops as the same gimmicks were pulled out for each city.
