The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the UFC has sold an office building at its current headquarters in Las Vegas. According to the report, it sold the building for $1.45 million to a criminal defense law firm.
The criminal defense law firm has purchased the building but is leasing it back until the UFC moves to its campus it broke ground on in December 2015.
The UFC is also selling two other buildings included a 4,002 square-foot building listed for $1.7 million and a 22,897-foot square-foot property listed for $11 million.
Payout Perspective:
The real estate transaction reflects the need for the company to divest in its current properties as it anticipates to move into its new campus. Back in December 2015, the plan was to begin construction in last January and last 15 months. So, if still on schedule, the new 184,000 square foot campus in Las Vegas should be done this spring.
