Excellent news for Bellator, bad news forming a pattern for you ‘UFC only’ types

What bad news? UFC only types? Few fights outside the ufc matter anymore. At one time they did because the ufc was small. Now the ufc is its own league that is so large that they can contain the champs and a very long list of contenders. Following the day to day changes of the league as people try to work their way up the rights to be the best is a full time venture. No one outside the ufc has a legitimate shot as climbing to the top or even being top contender without fighting in the ufc. They are all fighting to try to get in the ufc. So what’s the point? The ufc is putting on over 500 fights a year. There is no reason to watch any other promotion. All that is left is people who tune in for a specific fight here and there. But that can never compete with he ufc. I have seen more foghts in the last 20 years than just about anyone.

Also what kind of rating so wild they have if the ufc did decline? Since Bellator ratings are based on UFC has beens who pull in the ufc fan base. Bellator would be in trouble. Not to mention it is the ufc who is creating the fan base and popularity that Bellator gets to take advantage of. When ufc 200, Rousey, and Conor etc get mainstream press for the sport it helps all other promotions. They all need the ufc!

and there you have it….”UFC only” type, mad about Bellator ratings

Mad at Bellator ratings? I don’t think so. Their ratings, good or bad, are meaningless. They can’t sustain them or compete. Only a noob ignores to pros for semi pros. Hipsters trying to be different !

Got something to say?
