UFC on Fox 18 attendance, gate and bonuses

MMA Junkie reports the attendance, gate and bonuses from UFC on Fox 18

Anthony Johnson, Ben Rothwell, Jimmie Rivera and Iuri Alcantara drew the $50,000 fight-night bonuses.  Johnson and Rothwell won Performance of the Night while Rivera and Alcantara won for Fight of the Night.  The bonuses were announced at the post-UFC on Fox press conference.

In addition, the attendance and gate were announced at the presser with 10,555 in attendance and a gate of $818,000.  The event was 7th out of 7 UFC events at the Prudential Center according the MMA Junkie.

Payout Perspective:

The performance bonuses were well-deserved although you might have thrown in Bryan Barberena who submitted Sage Northcutt.  The comparatively low attendance and gate are not surprising considering the talent on the card.  We  will see how well it did on Fox.

Great night of fights! More fans getting into mma after every event like this.

Big finishes and fighters winning in action packed bouts. That’s what fighting is all about, unlike the other combat sport…..

PBC needs more money desperately- they can’t afford to put big fights on anymore. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Big fights are being shifted to Showtime already losing PBC’s banner.

The writing is already on the wall.

This has been known for awhile. You didnt even realize that the article is a week old and that we already pointed out that Showtime is putting there name on it.

They put Jacobs-Quillin on Showtime about 2 months ago.

    You a Jerry’s Kid?

Thurman-Porter is on CBS not Showtime by the way

HAHAHA!! He’s stealing my lines(proving he actually is one of Jerry’s kids) and denying the reality that PBC can’t fund their own cards anymore.

  7. d on January 31st, 2016 4:09 PM

Why do you think Showtime is putting their name on it genius? They bought it because PBC can’t afford it. HAHAHA!!!

  8. The Greatest on January 31st, 2016 5:34 PM

$400M hedge fund says they can afford it.

  9. d on January 31st, 2016 5:41 PM

It was over 500 million and according to the hedge fund it is almost gone. HAHAHAHAHA!!! PBC DONE!!!

Hahahaha what showtime did is called being a title sponsor….showtime is promoting itself to the bigger CBS audience…it means its a good fight matchup that they want theyre brand associated with it…the winner would fight garcia on showtime ppv or cbs with showtime name on it….” they bought it because pbc cant afford it” lol…makes no sense hahaha.

Now i know one of the strategies of haymon he is getting more leverage from networks…he is building boxers like showtime and hbo but these boxers are not signed with them…if they become name fighters they can fight for the highest bidder from any of the networks

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Tops in full blown denial. Still hasn’t addressed the hedge fund running out of money and then mysteriously selling off their major fights to someone else! They can’t afford the fights, that’s why genius. He has to make up weak arguments! How about those Waddell and Reed hedge funds going from over 500m to 80m. Topps is ignoring it because he sees the writing on the wall! Maybe PBC can get 500m more for their jumbo tron because its the only thing of value left in the company! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  12. The Greatest on February 1st, 2016 9:17 AM

    $420M in 10 months?
    D make your lies believable.

  13. d on February 1st, 2016 10:16 AM

Just because you didn’t bother to do any research- doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

Waddell and Reed have it posted on their website genius. The 3 hedge funds they were being financed from are now down to 80m from over 500m back in March. I could care less how they spent that money, the fact remains they only have 80m from their original funding source and they are selling off their big fights to competitors. Do the math.

You lie every time you post.

Hahaha….so the scenario is PBC to cbs: we cant afford your tv primetime, showtime to pbc: dont worry we’ ll pay for it because you dont have the money…..hahahaha D’ s twisted logic….its called title sponsor….look it up hahaha

  15. d on February 1st, 2016 3:08 PM

HAHAHA!! PBC to CBS….we don’t have the money to pay for the purses because our hedge fund is bled dry and if we want to continue this someone else has subsidize us. Showtime/CBS…hahahaha! Your done! HAHAHA!! Topps can’t take the truth. HAHAHAHA!!

  16. d on February 1st, 2016 3:10 PM

Go read the reports genius. 80m left out of over 500m. Then again, they still have that big screen for collateral. HAHAHAHA!!!

Got something to say?
