Machida and Alexander in Mainstream Advert

UFC 205er’s Houston Alexander and Lyoto Machida are featured in the holiday advertising campaign for the footwear company Lugz. The Lugz brand was founded in October of 1993. A family owned company who has over 63 years of experience in making shoes, the company gained cache in the marketplace after being endorsed by key players from the world of hip hop. Lugz skew to a younger market, one that dovetails nicely with the 18-34 demographic sweet spot that is the key demo group for mixed martial arts. The ad has been featured in youth oriented magazines such as Blender.
