CagePotato details a party hosted by MMAFacts.com for viewing of UFC 88. MMAFacts.com is a website front for Zuffa to put forth the message for MMA regulation and legislation. Zuffa looks to be taking a two pronged approach with legislation in New York, fighting both the public relations and the political battle. Native New Yorker Matt Serra has been front in center in most PR efforts, including the party at the 40/40 club on Saturday. The PR battle is only part of the war, though as Zuffa has also took to Albany in an effort to sway legislators. Zuffa has made significant contributions to both the Democratic and Republication parties in order to grease the wheels of passing MMA legislation. Maximizing both of these efforts will be key in countering the forces opposing the advent of MMA in the Empire State.
