MMA Live Expands Reach, Coming To Your Phone

While it isn’t a jump to the the Bristol mothership of ESPN or ESPN2 that some had speculated on, MMA Live does look to extend it’s coverage area by recently announcing a deal with the V-Cast and Verizon Wireless Network to offer the program to it’s customers:
V CAST Video Lets Customers Catch Up According to Their Own Schedules
–Verizon Wireless, builder and operator of the nation’s most reliable wireless
voice and data network, and ESPN Mobile Properties today announced Verizon
Wireless customers can watch and enjoy full-length episodes from the hit ESPN
shows “ScoreCenter” and “MMA Live” on their Verizon Wireless V CAST
Video-enabled phones.
The full-length programs include:
– “MMA Live” — gives customers a look at the latest in mixed martial
arts. Hosts Jon Anik, Kenny Florian, Frank Mir and Franklin McNeil discuss the
latest news and information from the sport and provide interviews and analysis
from different matches.
“ScoreCenter” and “MMA Live” episodes are presented on V CAST Video in a
series of bite-sized video clips, letting customers catch up on shows at their
convenience when away from home.
Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever
they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00
V CAST VPak monthly subscription, which also includes access to Verizon
Wireless’ ESPN MVP, Get It Now(R) and Mobile Web services. Customers get
unlimited basic video — including video from ESPN — but application download
fees may apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime or
megabyte charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content with any V CAST
subscription.
