Couture on Fedor vs Randy Purse: $6 to $10 Million Each

Randy Couture was a recent guest on The Adam Carolla Show, which you can listen to here:Part 1, Part 2. During part 2, Adam inquired about the possible monetary requirements to get the fight done. Randy’s response:
It has the potential to do 700,000+ pay-per-view buys which is a helluva lotta money. I think $6-10 miliion for each of us and they’re still gonna make a boatload of money on top of that.
Such a payout would be new territory for the UFC. The highest payout on record so far was the Chuck vs Tito 2 fight, with the fight generating just over a million buys and each fighter receiving in the neighborhood of $3 million, according to the Wrestling Observer.
