The Strikeforce pairing would certainly be an intriguing one. Strikeforce currently has a deal with NBC and is rumored to be in negotiations to do a live event with the network. For Strikeforce, partnering with Affliction would certainly boost the star-power they could put on display if they are able to put on a live show for the Peacock. For Affliction, a deal that got them on network TV would boost the profile of their Affliction brand in general and also increase the visibility of their fighters. The deal would also serve as a way to hype up their next PPV offering.
